Edmonton is Alberta's capital city. The city has four distinct seasons and boasts friendly, community-minded people.

The Greater Edmonton area has a population exceeding 919,000 people. Edmonton has a lower population density than most major North American cities - about 67 times less than the population density of New York City.

With its high economic outlook and low unemployment rate, Edmonton is truly one of Canada's most livable cities.
